Work Preparation Standards

Three core pillars you must pay attention to for your work to quickly pass the professional editorial review.

1. Text & Content Standards

All literary and research texts you submit to our magazines are expected to be fluent, original, and compliant with grammar rules.

Specific Criteria

  • File Format: Only Word (.docx) or rich text format (.rtf)
  • Font Selection: Standard readable fonts (Arial or Times New Roman, 12pt)
  • Author Info: Full Name, School, Grade should be written at the very beginning
  • Plagiarism Check: Copied texts or those generated by AI tools will be filtered out directly

2. Visual & Graphic Selection

Illustrations and artistic drawings are the most important elements that enrich the visual appeal of our digital publications.

Specific Criteria

  • Resolution: At least 300 DPI, clean and sharp images
  • File Format: PNG (for transparent layers) or high-quality JPEG
  • Copyright: The artwork must belong 100% to you and must be license-free
  • Color Space: Save in RGB color mode for high digital screen quality

3. Photography Standards

Your original photographs are used on magazine pages by our layout designers in harmony with page designs.

Specific Criteria

  • Clarity: Unblurred, noise-free, and high-resolution photographs
  • Editing: Avoid heavy contrast adjustments or artificial filters
  • Consent: Ensure you have consent from people in the frame (if any)
  • Dimensions: Original shots with at least 2000px width are preferred

Poetry and Poetic Prose

Definition & Summary

Literary expression woven with the harmonious unity of emotions, images, sounds and words.

How to Write / Prepare?
  • Poems can be written in free or syllabic meter; Emphasis is placed on literary depth and image originality.
  • It must not have been published in any physical book, magazine or website before.
  • There is no word or verse limit, but attention should be paid to the spaces between stanzas for page layout.
Tips & Technicalities
  • Be sure to give your poem an appropriate title.
  • Do not break the left alignment of strings in Word (our designers will make the alignment aesthetically in the layout).
  • Use punctuation marks consciously and correctly according to your poetic rhythm.

  • Ensure you proofread your submissions and clean them of typos.
  • Layout and design processes are executed entirely by our graphic designers; you don't need to format page layouts.
  • Articles generated by AI tools are filtered out and will not be recorded in the system.
  • Once approved by editors, submissions are published in the most suitable magazine issue on MagPublish.
